India’s first NFT Poetess – Harsha Saxena – Journey of an Entrepreneur to Poet

(In Frame) – Harsha Saxena – India’s first NFT Poetess

New Delhi (India), October 25: As the technology space is evolving faster than most understand, evolving to Metaverse and Web3, the Indian literary minds aren’t behind. India has been enriched with poets of the ranks of Rabindranath Tagore, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Sarojini Naidu and other tall poets. Poetry had not been a commercial product but culturally enriching. Metaverse and Web3 are changing the dimension for poets with the launch of TheVerseverse by Ana Caballero, Kalen Iwamoto, and Sasha Stiles, where the poets can mint their poetries. We also have Artnet with Poetry garden; Opensea has many of the artworks and poetries being minted.

India has its own first NFT Poetess, Harsha Saxena, and entrepreneur cum poet releasing her first album Universal Messages, on Opensea (https://opensea.io/collection/universalmessages) wherein she mints her poetries online. She also releases her poetries on her YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@harshaishappiness5507) and recites poems amidst nature in Hindi and English.

Her poetry focuses more on spirituality and sustainability and is dedicated to Mother Earth. Her inspiration comes from nature as she pens each one of them in the Arambol jungles in Goa or the spiritual places she visits. “Being a woman entrepreneur and sharing emotions in the form of poetries was an inner calling but given a mind of business, I thought about how I could use the contemporary AI tools to reach a larger audience and also earn from my writing. My friends active in Web3 guided me through the process of minting poetries,” says Harsha.

Coming from a literary background, her mother Achala Saxena, a lawyer and poet, has published Hindi poetries with the title “Ahasaas”, and she has published her poetry book “Messages Volume 1” available on Pothi – https://store.pothi.com/book/harsha-s-messages/

Although the Indian Government proposes to charge a 30% tax on profits on Web3 earnings, Harsha is optimistic about the advent and encourages more poets to mint on web3.
